French IT and management consulting corporation Capgemini which has a sizeable presence in India is looking for consultants.
The company recently posted an ad for the position on the professional networking site, Linkedin which was rather interesting.
The position – senior consultant – had the word “mule” in brackets, seemingly coming across as a rather honest description about the position-holder needing to be hard-working and obedient, much like its working class hero and spirit animal, the mule.
However, the word Mule was simply used to mean a consultant working on MuleSoft – a management software.
While the joke may be lost on the HR recruiter, IT folks, who usually relate with the hard-working animal, are amused.
